Wolfson Group Turns to ECRM to Accelerate U.S. Retail Expansion Beyond Amazon

Scotland-based international consumer wellness company Wolfson Group will participate in the ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session from September 14-17 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, as part of a broader effort to expand its U.S. retail presence beyond e-commerce. The company aims to meet with buyers representing major health, specialty, food, drug, and mass-market retail channels, marking a significant step in its omnichannel strategy.

Wolfson Group already has a foundation in the U.S. through Amazon, where its brands—PhenQ, TestoPrime, NooCube, and YourBiology—are available. However, the company sees a much larger opportunity in physical retail. “Amazon has given our brands an important foundation in the U.S. market, but we see a much larger opportunity ahead,” said Scott Dingwall, Founder and CEO of Wolfson Group. “The next step is expanding where consumers can find us, and ECRM gives us the opportunity to sit down with retailers across multiple channels and explore where our portfolio can fit.”

The ECRM format facilitates scheduled, focused meetings between brands and retailers, allowing Wolfson Group to introduce its portfolio while gaining insights into the needs of individual retail channels. For Dingwall, these conversations are about more than securing distribution points; they are an opportunity to understand how established international brands can best serve U.S. retailers and their customers. “Every retail channel is different, and that's one of the reasons these meetings are valuable,” Dingwall said. “We can have direct conversations about what buyers are seeing, what their customers are looking for and how our brands might complement their existing wellness offerings. Those insights are important as we build our U.S. strategy for the long term.”

This move is significant because it reflects a growing trend among digital-native wellness brands to seek omnichannel presence. While e-commerce offers reach, brick-and-mortar retail provides accessibility and visibility that can drive brand credibility and consumer trust. For Wolfson Group, expanding into physical stores could accelerate customer acquisition and retention, particularly in categories like weight management, cognitive wellness, gut health, and men's wellbeing, where consumers often seek tangible products. Moreover, the U.S. wellness market is highly competitive, and securing shelf space in major retailers can be a game-changer for international brands. By engaging directly with buyers, Wolfson Group can tailor its offerings to meet regional preferences and regulatory standards, potentially increasing its market share.

The company's broader U.S. growth plans include expanding retail relationships, strengthening distribution, and building consumer awareness. The September meetings are viewed as a critical step in developing partnerships necessary to extend its reach beyond Amazon. From its home base in Scotland to one of the world's largest consumer markets, Wolfson Group aims to build a U.S. presence that combines digital commerce with a broader retail footprint. If successful, this strategy could serve as a blueprint for other international wellness brands looking to penetrate the U.S. market, highlighting the importance of adaptability and direct retailer engagement in today's omnichannel landscape.
