Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 42K) reported certified laboratory assay results from its inaugural programs at the Rowland Tungsten Property and adjoining White Star Tungsten Project in Elko County, Nevada. The results include rock-chip assays grading up to 4.02% WO3 at the Rowland Main zone and 3.00% WO3 at the White Star Batholith Mine, exceeding twice the reported historical grades.

With the geophysics complete across both properties and the assays now in hand, we are building the integrated Jarbidge-Charleston dataset we need to move confidently into drill target generation.”
The Rowland Tungsten Property sampling program targeted three zones of historical workings: Northern Zone A, Northern Zone B, and Rowland Main. At Rowland Main, 18 rock-chip and channel samples returned grades from 0.01% to 4.02% WO3, with five samples exceeding 1.0% WO3. Standout results include 4.02% WO3 (sample RO-16-01), 2.69% WO3 (RO-19-15), 2.56% WO3 (RO-19-10), 2.11% WO3 (RO-16-02), and 1.25% WO3 (RO-19-13). Coincident elevated values of molybdenum (up to 110.5 ppm Mo), silver (up to 6.82 g/t Ag), copper (0.4% Cu), and manganese (up to 2.57% Mn) were also noted.
At Northern Zone A, one sample returned 0.23% WO3 with 3.06 g/t Ag and 41.1 ppm Mo. Northern Zone B yielded three samples ranging from 0.35% to 1.22% WO3, with peak silver of 10.85 g/t Ag and copper up to 0.8% Cu (sample RO-18-03).
Initial rock-chip sampling at the White Star Tungsten Project returned two samples: WS-16-02 grading 3.00% WO3 with 711 ppm Mo, and WS-16-01 grading 0.13% WO3. The high-grade sample was collected from an area not previously known to be mineralized, consistent with historical production grades from the Batholith/Mission Cross Mine.
The company plans to integrate these results with completed UAV magnetic geophysical surveys and pending soil geochemistry to support drill target generation across the consolidated Jarbidge-Charleston tungsten footprint. Further soil sampling is ongoing, and additional updates will be provided as assays are received.
Samples were analyzed by ALS Global in Reno, Nevada, using ME-MS61 and fusion XRF methods. QA/QC protocols included standards, blanks, and duplicates. The technical information has been reviewed by Jasper Mowatt, a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101.
