Vycor Medical Reports 17% Revenue Growth in 2025, Driven by International Expansion of ViewSite Brain Access System

Vycor Medical, Inc. (OTCQB: VYCO) has released its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025, reporting a 17% increase in total revenue to $1,863,400, up from $1,589,324 in 2024. The company operates through two business units: Vycor Medical, which produces the ViewSite™ Brain Access System (VBAS) for neurosurgeons, and NovaVision®, which offers therapy programs for visual disorders after stroke or brain injury.

The Vycor Medical division generated revenue of $1,796,070, an 18% increase over 2024, with most of the growth coming from international markets, a key company strategy. Operating profit for the division rose to $493,787 from $353,052 in 2024. Consolidated operating profit improved to $33,900 compared to an operating loss of $(9,145) in the prior year. On a non-GAAP basis, operating profit reached $145,881, up from $81,548 in 2024, reflecting improved operational efficiency.

During 2025, seven new peer-reviewed studies were published on the VBAS, bringing the total to 50 peer-reviewed papers and 14 other clinical papers. The studies, originating from the US, UK, Japan, and Mexico, highlight clinical advantages such as reduced brain tissue damage, improved patient outcomes, and shorter hospital stays. This growing body of evidence supports the device's adoption in more than 350 US hospitals and numerous international centers.

The NovaVision division, still in development, generated revenue of $67,330, an 8% decrease from 2024. However, a new study on NeuroEyeCoach published in 2025 validated its effectiveness in both home-based and clinic-based settings, which is crucial as healthcare systems increasingly adopt digital home therapies. The study showed meaningful improvements in activities of daily living with no significant differences between settings.

Gross profit for 2025 was $1,498,295, an 11% increase, although gross margin declined to 83% from 89% due to validation, shipping, and higher manufacturing costs, as well as a higher international sales mix. The company reported a GAAP net loss available to common stockholders of $396,796, or $0.01 per share, compared to a loss of $431,570 in 2024. Non-GAAP net loss was $284,815.
