The acquisition, effective immediately, consolidates UFG's control over TBA, which operates over 200 offices with 1,000 agents and brokers worldwide, helping entrepreneurs sell, buy, and franchise their businesses.

As part of the acquisition, TBA's former CEO and partner Andy Cagnetta will focus on leading his Fort Lauderdale, Florida franchise location, which is the largest in the network. Jim 'JT' Tatem will remain TBA president, a position he has held since 2024. This leadership structure aims to leverage local expertise while maintaining corporate continuity.
