Trailbreaker Resources Commences Drilling at Swan Zone, Atsutla Gold Project

Trailbreaker Resources Ltd. (TBK.V) has announced the completion of its maiden drill program at the Highlands Zone and the mobilization of the drill to the Swan Zone at the company's 100%-owned, 300 km² Atsutla Gold Project in northwestern British Columbia, Canada. The Swan Zone is a copper-gold-silver porphyry target that has never been drilled, making this a significant step in the project's exploration.

While the Highlands Zone targeted high-grade, vein-hosted gold, silver, and copper showings, the Swan Zone is hosted in the Cretaceous Glundebery batholith, a different geological unit from the Jurassic Christmas Creek batholith that hosts the Highlands Zone. The two zones are 26 km apart. The completed drill program at the Highlands Zone consisted of four holes totaling 883.40 meters, testing a strike length of 500 meters and a vertical extent of 412 meters.

CEO Daithi Mac Gearailt commented, "The Swan Zone continues to be one of the most compelling targets in Trailbreaker's portfolio. Over the past five years we have developed this prospect from a new discovery and have added layers of data through systematic exploration." The company has conducted detailed geological mapping, soil geochemical surveys, induced polarization (IP) surveys, and airborne magnetic surveys to define the drill targets.

The Swan Zone is defined by a 1.5 km x 1.5 km multi-element soil geochemical anomaly (gold, copper, silver, arsenic, molybdenum, antimony, bismuth). Rock grab samples from the zone have graded up to 11.7 g/t gold, 212 g/t silver, and 0.81% copper. The geochemical anomaly coincides with a 2.1 km x 1.4 km donut-shaped chargeability high from a 2024 IP survey and a magnetic low signature from 2024 airborne surveys. Although limited historic drilling occurred in the adjacent valley, the Swan Zone itself remains undrilled.

The diamond drill program will target surface and geophysical anomalies, testing an estimated strike length of 1,000 meters to a vertical depth exceeding 400 meters. The company anticipates this program will improve understanding of mineralization controls and the deposit model. In September 2026, Trailbreaker also plans to drill several copper-gold porphyry targets at the Coho property, located 30 km northwest of the Mt. Milligan mine in central BC, as detailed in the May 25, 2026 news release.

The Atsutla Gold Project is centered over the regional Teslin-Thibert fault system, with gold mineralization associated with Mesozoic batholitic intrusions. Since discovery in 2020, Trailbreaker has outlined five significant zones: Highlands, Christmas Creek, Snook, Willie Jack, and Swan. For details on the Highlands Zone drill target, see the June 29, 2026 news release.
