Tradegate AG has announced its half-year report for 2026, revealing a period of exceptional growth and profitability. As a market specialist for shares and exchange-traded products (ETPs) on the Tradegate Berlin Stock Exchange (Tradegate BSX), the company saw revenue increase by 15% to approximately EUR 281 billion compared to the same period last year. This growth was accompanied by a 31.7% surge in the number of individual transactions, reaching 47,497,913 trades.
The first half of the year was marked by significant market volatility, which the company leveraged to achieve better gross margins in securities trading. Notably, January and June recorded the highest increases in turnover, with gains of around 50%, while March and April saw declines of 5.5% and 13.2%, respectively. Despite these fluctuations, the overall performance was robust, leading to a disproportionate rise in profit from ordinary activities, which increased by 63.7% to EUR 66.11 million. Net profit after tax also climbed by 64.2% to EUR 46.087 million.
The strong momentum has continued into the second half of the year, with the first six weeks showing moderate growth in turnover of approximately 12% compared to the previous year. This ongoing positive trend suggests that Tradegate AG is well-positioned to maintain its growth trajectory.
The half-yearly report is now available on the company’s website at www.tradegate.ag. This publication provides detailed insights into the company's financial performance and strategic direction.
