(NYSE: XPER), expressing increased confidence that the company's earnings inflection is underway following its first-quarter 2026 results. The analysis highlights a 14% reduction in adjusted operating expenses, which lifted adjusted EBITDA margin to 22.1% from 14.4% in the prior year period. Management indicated that first-quarter expenses represent a fair run rate, providing room to translate Media Platform growth into earnings without relying on further large cost actions.
According to Stonegate, the cost reset materially improves earnings visibility. The lower run-rate cost base supports sustained operating leverage toward the company's 17%–19% EBITDA margin target. Topline results benefited from earlier contract signings in Consumer Electronics and Connected Car, but the more meaningful change was the cost base improvement. Stonegate noted that TiVo One's expanding audience is beginning to support advertising revenue, reinforcing the shift toward post-deployment monetization.
