SKYX Platforms Corp. (NASDAQ: SKYX) announced today that it will deploy its advanced smart technologies during a master renovation of The Grand Hotel du Parc, a historic hotel in La Bourboule, France, owned by Group OTT. The renovation, which includes rooms, suites, bars, restaurants, lobby, ballroom, spa, gym, meeting rooms, and corridors, marks SKYX’s first European hotel collaboration and is expected to involve thousands of units of ceiling lighting, ceiling fans, recessed lights, down lights, EXIT signs, emergency lights, indoor and outdoor lights, and wall lights.
The hotel, formerly known as The Grand Medicis Hotel, currently has 100 rooms and suites and will add 30 more. Group OTT, which has developed over 250 buildings across Europe valued at more than $4 billion, plans to integrate SKYX’s technologies into additional hotels. Jean-François Ott, Founder of Group OTT, stated, “By integrating SKYX’s technologies into these properties, we will cut significant time and cost while advancing the lifestyle and safety standards of our hotels and buildings.”
The partnership underscores SKYX’s strategy to expand its hotel segment in both the U.S. and Europe. According to the company, its plug-and-play technologies can reduce renovation time and cost by up to 90% compared to traditional methods, a critical advantage for hotel owners seeking to minimize downtime during renovations or new builds. SKYX’s system is designed to be interchangeable and upgradable, enabling future recurring revenues through AI services, monitoring, and subscriptions. Rani Kohen, Founder and Executive Chairman of SKYX, said, “We look forward to continuing to grow our hotel segment in both the U.S. and Europe, based on our advanced technologies and including the significant time and cost saving during hotel renovations and new builds.”
The announcement follows SKYX’s ongoing discussions with additional hotel groups and owners regarding the utilization of its smart technologies. The company holds over 100 U.S. and global patents and patent-pending applications for its platform, which aims to make homes and buildings “advanced-safe-smart” as the new standard. The Grand Hotel du Parc, located in a leading thermal spa destination centered on health, wellness, and longevity tourism, is undergoing a three-phase renovation that includes both historical preservation and new construction. SKYX is expected to supply its products throughout the process, enhancing the hotel’s safety and smart capabilities while aligning with its integrated approach combining hospitality, residential offerings, food & beverage, and immersive experiences.
