The RazMania Midwest Festival is set to make its debut in Metro Detroit on August 29-30, 2026, at the UWM Sports Complex in Pontiac, Michigan. This two-day event aims to become one of the region's premier sports and trading card game (TCG) collectibles festivals, expecting to draw thousands of attendees from across the Midwest. The festival will offer a vibrant marketplace where collectors, sports fans, and families can buy, sell, and trade sports cards, Pokémon cards, TCG items, comics, memorabilia, and other collectibles.
Central to the festival's appeal is the opportunity to meet more than 50 professional athletes, including notable Detroit Lions players such as Jameson Williams, Jake Bates, Jack Fox, Brock Wright, and Hogan Hatten. Additionally, University of Michigan football players Jordan Marshall, Zack Marshall, Enow Etta, and Avery Gach will be present, along with high-profile college recruits like DeAndre Bidden (5-star, Class of 2028) and Jayden Evans (4-star, Class of 2028). These appearances provide fans with unique chances for autographs and photo opportunities.
Jason Raznick, Founder of RazMania, emphasized the festival's mission: "RazMania is about bringing together the entire collecting community under one roof. Whether you're a lifelong collector, a sports fan, a Pokémon enthusiast or someone attending their first card show, we want everyone to experience the excitement of discovering incredible collectibles, meeting athletes and connecting with others who share the same passion."
Beyond the trading floor, the festival will feature interactive experiences such as a 40-yard dash, half-court shot, and field goal kicks, catering to attendees of all ages. The event also underscores a commitment to community outreach. In partnership with Pontiac United and the Boys & Girls Club of Troy, RazMania will host hundreds of local youth, offering them a chance to meet athletes and engage with the hobby. Jeff Evans, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Troy, expressed enthusiasm: "Our kids are looking forward to getting autographs and meeting some of their local sports heroes." Traciee Hirsch, Founder & CEO of Pontiac United, added, "Opportunities like this allow our youth to experience something new, dream beyond their current surroundings, and see possibilities for their futures that they may not have imagined before."
The festival also presents significant opportunities for vendors and sponsors to reach a dedicated audience of collectors and enthusiasts. With hundreds of vendor booths already planned, businesses interested in participating can still secure spaces and sponsorships. Tickets and additional details are available at www.RazManiaFest.com.
The RazMania Midwest Festival is poised to become a cornerstone event for the collecting community, combining commerce, entertainment, and philanthropy in a family-friendly environment. By bringing together athletes, collectors, and local organizations, it aims to inspire the next generation of enthusiasts while celebrating the enduring appeal of sports memorabilia and trading cards.
