Powermax Minerals Completes 2026 Field Program at Cameron REE Project, Advancing Rare Earth Exploration in British Columbia

Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) (FSE: T23) has announced the completion of its 2026 field exploration program at the Cameron Rare Earth Element (REE) Project, located near Revelstoke, British Columbia. The program, conducted in July and August, comprised geological mapping, prospecting, rock-chip, soil and stream-sediment sampling, as well as handheld radiometric screening across priority target areas. A total of 250 samples were collected, including 50 rock-chip, 50 soil, and 150 stream-sediment samples, which have been submitted to AGAT Laboratories in Calgary for analysis.

This field program was designed to expand geological and geochemical coverage of areas identified through previous sampling, mapped pegmatites, geological contacts, and drainage catchments. The comprehensive sampling strategy aims to better understand the mineralized systems and prioritize targets for future exploration. Following the receipt of laboratory results and the completion of its QA/QC review, Powermax plans to integrate the analytical data with geological and radiometric field information to refine and rank targets for potential additional surface work, trenching, or future drill evaluation.

The Cameron REE Project is part of Powermax's broader portfolio of rare earth element assets, which includes the Atikokan REE Property in Ontario, the Pinard REE Property in Northern Ontario, and the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Wyoming. These projects position the company to contribute to the growing demand for rare earth elements, which are critical for various technologies including electric vehicles, wind turbines, and defense systems. As global supply chains seek to diversify away from dominant producers, exploration and development of domestic sources have become increasingly important.

The completion of this field program marks a significant step for Powermax in advancing its Cameron project. The data gathered will be crucial in determining the economic potential of the area and guiding future exploration efforts. The company's systematic approach to exploration, combined with its focus on rare earth elements, aligns with broader industry trends and government initiatives to secure critical mineral supplies.

Powermax Minerals is a Canadian mineral exploration company dedicated to advancing rare earth element projects. The company holds an option to acquire the Cameron REE Property, comprising three mineral claims totaling approximately 2,984 hectares in British Columbia. Additionally, Powermax has optioned the Atikokan REE Property (455 unpatented mining claims in NW Ontario) and the Pinard REE Property (5,178 hectares in Northern Ontario), and owns a 100% interest in the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Wyoming.

Investors and stakeholders are encouraged to stay informed about the company's progress through its newsroom at https://ibn.fm/PWMXF. As results from the 2026 field program become available, they will provide critical insights into the potential of the Cameron REE Project and the company's strategic direction.
