Peapack-Gladstone Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: PGC) and its subsidiary, Peapack Private Bank & Trust, announced the appointment of Elizabeth "Liz" Martone as Senior Managing Director, Group Director. Martone will be based at the bank's Park Avenue office in New York City and will serve on James Handal's leadership team, focusing on building high-value client relationships and driving business development.
Martone brings 25 years of financial services experience to her new role. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President, Commercial Private Banking at BankUnited in Melville, NY, where she led a team and enhanced the client experience while cultivating new business opportunities with high-net-worth individuals and companies. Prior to that, she served as Managing Director at The Montauk Group, developing global banking relationship management strategies. Her earlier roles include Vice President, Cash Management at Herald National Bank; Vice President, Private Banking at Capital One; and Vice President, Cash Management Team Lead at North Fork Bank. Martone holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Philosophy, and Education from Siena College.
