North Atlantic Titanium Corp. (CSE: NATO) (OTCQB: NATQ.F) (FSE: Y33) has provided additional information on its application for a three-year drilling permit at the Everett Titanium-Vanadium-Phosphate project near Havre-Saint-Pierre, Quebec. The company is awaiting a Permit for Forestry Activities (PAF) and a Permit for Work with Impact (ATI) to commence a 25,000-meter drilling program focused on the northern portion of the Everett oxide body.
The drilling plans are informed by mineralogical characterization from Corem, which analyzed a composite metallurgical sample from 57 sites across the oxide body. Corem reported that approximately 99% of oxide minerals consist of high-quality hemo-ilmenite with very low magnesium, manganese, and aluminum impurities. This distinguishes Everett from the nearby Lac Tio Mine, as the project targets not only titanium dioxide but also apatite for phosphate, vanadium, and potential scandium credits, representing a broader Fe-Ti-V-P critical-minerals opportunity.
The company holds the 2,406-hectare Everett property under option from Romaine River Titanium Inc. The drilling program will be executed in success-contingent stages. Stage 1 comprises 6,000 meters of widely spaced drilling to delineate the oxide body limits, collect samples for assay and metallurgical analyses, and frame follow-up drilling. Stage 2 will involve approximately 19,000 meters of infill drilling to define a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), likely beginning in late winter 2026-27.
The targeted mineralized unit, an oxide-apatite-gabbronorite, spans over 6 kilometers of strike length. Corem's characterization of a composite sample (Col154) showed a weighted-average head grade of 37.0% Fe2O3, 17.4% TiO2, 0.18% V2O5, and 2.27% P2O5, with hemo-ilmenite and apatite comprising over 50% of the sample. The Everett oxide body remains open along strike to the north and south and down-dip.
Regionally, the Everett project is located within the Lac Allard Anorthosite intrusion, dated at approximately 1.06 Ga, part of the broader Havre-Saint-Pierre anorthosite complex. Unlike the Lac Tio deposit, which is a massive hemo-ilmenite cumulate with higher magnesium content, Everett's hemo-ilmenite shows significantly lower Mg, Mn, Cr, and Al, consistent with an evolved magmatic differentiation model. This chemical distinction supports the potential for a low-Mg/Cr hemo-ilmenite concentrate, with apatite and vanadium coproducts.
CEO Dwayne Yaretz stated that the metallurgical results reinforce the company's strategy to advance a secure domestic critical minerals processing supply chain in Canada, supporting defense readiness and reshoring Western titanium metal production. The Stage 1 program will define the technical program and follow-up drilling for the next 18 to 24 months.
The company is collaborating with Romaine River in a program managed by Elements08 Strategic Metals Excellence Centre, funded by the Government of Quebec, involving metallurgical testing at the Everett project.
