Nevada Organic Phosphate Reports Encouraging Early Results from Murdock Mountain Exploration Program

Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. (CSE: NOP) (OTCQB: NOPFF), a B.C.-based leader in organic sedimentary phosphate exploration, recently reported encouraging preliminary observations from its ongoing 2026 drilling campaign at the Murdock Mountain Property in Elko County, Nevada. The company said drill hole MM26-7 intersected an apparent 39 metres of the targeted Meade Peak stratigraphic interval. The drill hole was completed to a depth of 152 metres and positioned roughly 100 metres north and upslope from drill hole MM25-1 completed during the prior exploration season (https://ibn.fm/S9rmS).

According to the company, last year's MM25-1 hole intersected approximately 38 metres of the same interval, and the new results are pending assay confirmation. The company is advancing a broader exploration program focused on the Upper Phosphatic Zone within the Meade Peak Member. This zone is considered highly prospective for direct application organic phosphate fertilizer, which is increasingly sought after in the expanding North American market.

The importance of this program extends beyond the company's immediate prospects. Domestic phosphate supply is becoming critical amid global fertilizer supply-chain uncertainty and geopolitical concentration risk. The United States relies heavily on imported phosphate, much of which comes from regions with unstable political climates. Developing domestic sources like Murdock Mountain could reduce this dependency and stabilize supply for American farmers.

The Murdock Mountain Property benefits from access to highway, rail, and trucking infrastructure, serving national agricultural markets. This logistical advantage positions the project to efficiently distribute organic phosphate fertilizer across the United States, supporting the growing demand for sustainable and organic farming inputs.

Nevada Organic Phosphate is targeting the expanding North American market for direct application organic phosphate fertilizer. Unlike conventional phosphate fertilizers that require chemical processing, direct application phosphate is mined and ground into a powder that can be applied directly to soil. This process retains natural organic matter and micronutrients, offering an environmentally friendly alternative that improves soil health.

The initial results from the 2026 drilling program are encouraging, but the company awaits assay results to confirm the grade and quality of the phosphate. Successful development of this project could provide a significant domestic source of organic phosphate, contributing to food security and sustainable agriculture.
