CLEVELAND, OH – Mishkind Kulwicki Law Co., LPA, a personal injury law firm, has announced the launch of its Helping Victims Scholarship, a $1,000 award for students who share the firm's commitment to supporting individuals harmed by negligence, recklessness, or malicious actions. The scholarship is open to students from any academic discipline, recognizing that professionals in fields such as social work, counseling, medicine, advocacy, and public policy also play vital roles in aiding victims.
According to the firm, a victim in personal injury law is someone who has suffered physical or psychological harm due to another party's wrongful conduct. Attorney Howard D. Mishkind emphasized that helping clients secure resources for recovery is a calling. 'We feel fortunate to do the work we do. We take pride in shouldering our clients' legal burdens so they can focus on healing and getting back to the way their lives were before they suffered an unnecessary injury or loss,' he said.
Attorney David A. Kulwicki added that the scholarship aims to encourage more people to help victims. 'The more people who are out in the world doing good to help victims in need, the better and more compassionate the world will be. We want to support the education of a goal-oriented student with a passion for helping others,' he stated.

All applications must be submitted by March 31, 2027, and the winner will be announced in May 2027.
