MediKeeper's Dr. Tyler Amell to Speak at Global Health and Benefits Conferences

MediKeeper has announced that Dr. Tyler Amell, its Chief Health and Strategy Officer, will be a featured speaker at several health and employee benefits conferences across North America and Europe. The tour begins Aug. 25 in Scottsdale, Arizona, and includes stops in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Edinburgh, Scotland; and New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Amell will deliver keynotes, plenary sessions, and workshops focused on evidence-based strategies for improving workplace health and productivity.

“It is a great honor to be asked to deliver keynotes, plenary, breakout or workshop presentations that are of importance to conference attendees and organizers alike. There is so much good evidence out there, and such critical need for unbiased, outcome-based information to help guide employee health and wellness programming, that I am pleased to play a small role in the conference education experience of so many people,” said Dr. Amell.

His first engagement will be a keynote at the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (ISCEBS) Symposium Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Aug. 26. The symposium, running Aug. 23-26, gathers credentialed benefits professionals from across North America. Dr. Amell will discuss why workplace health should be a strategic imperative for organizations.

Next, he will travel to Halifax, Nova Scotia, to present a workshop on living your best retirement from a preventive health perspective at the Canadian Employee Benefits Conference, which celebrates its 59th annual meeting from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2. This conference provides comprehensive education for pension and benefit professionals.

In September, Dr. Amell will speak at the International Forum on Disability Management (IFDM) in Edinburgh, Scotland, on Sept. 22-23. His keynote will focus on modern integrated strategies for success in workplace health and productivity, work disability, and return to work. The IFDM connects international colleagues on disability, health, and wellness issues, supporting peer learning across countries.

Dr. Amell will conclude his fall tour in New Orleans at the 72nd annual Employee Benefits Conference, taking place Oct. 25-28. There, he will address worker burnout, mental health initiatives, low-cost considerations, and best practices for implementation, alongside employee representative colleagues. This flagship conference helps attendees learn tools and insights to make informed decisions about employee health benefits, retirement, and benefits administration.

Dr. Amell is an internationally recognized leader in workplace health and productivity. In addition to his role at MediKeeper, he serves on the executive board of directors of the Wellness Alliance and is on faculty at Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences.
