MEDICLIN Reports Solid First Half of 2026 with Revenue and EBIT Growth

MEDICLIN Aktiengesellschaft reported consolidated group revenues of EUR 386.4 million for the first half of 2026, a 5.0% increase compared to EUR 368.1 million in the prior year. Group EBIT rose to EUR 26.6 million from EUR 22.4 million, as the company treated 54,708 patients, up from 53,183. CFO Tino Fritz attributed the performance to consistent positive momentum from the first quarter, stability in core business areas, efficient cost management, and targeted investments.

In the Post-Acute segment, revenues reached EUR 263.0 million, up 4.6% from EUR 251.5 million. The cost of materials ratio improved to 19.0% from 20.0%, while staff costs increased 7.2% to EUR 145.2 million. EBIT for the segment rose to EUR 25.6 million from EUR 23.3 million. The Acute Care segment generated EUR 111.2 million in revenue, up from EUR 104.6 million, but EBIT remained negative at EUR -1.1 million, unchanged from the prior year. The Care segment saw revenue of EUR 12.3 million and EBIT of EUR 0.2 million, compared to EUR -0.2 million. The Service segment reported other income of EUR 69.2 million and EBIT of EUR 1.9 million, up from EUR 0.5 million.

The management board reaffirmed its outlook for the full year, expecting consolidated group revenue growth between 3.5% and 6.5% and group EBIT between EUR 57.0 million and EUR 72.0 million. The interim report as at 30 June 2026 is available at www.mediclin.de in German and English.
