The Martial Arts History Museum in Glendale, California, will host a movie premiere for The Match-Stick Flame 3: Red Mafia on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The event will feature a red carpet from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a screening from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the museum located at 201 N Brand Blvd B100.
The film follows Detective Dalton, portrayed by Craig Bruss, who now works as a bounty hunter. Dalton, a Navy SEAL veteran struggling with PTSD, uses alternative medicine strategies with karate Sensei Darryl Vidal alongside traditional therapy. His mission is to dismantle the remaining Lunada Bay gang members and rescue DEA Agent Prasad, played by Vineeta Prasad, who has been taken by the Russian mob known as the “Red Mafia.” Dalton reconnects with Chief Higgins, the Match Stick Mobsters, and Jake to save Agent Prasad.
Michael Matsuda, Museum Director, noted the film’s alignment with the museum’s focus on martial arts history. “The film screening of The Match-Stick Flame 3: Red Mafia seems like a natural fit since it is an action film with mixed martial arts featuring highly experienced actors/martial artists such as Darryl Vidal, known for the ‘crane kick’ in The Karate Kid and playing a referee in Cobra Kai Season 6,” Matsuda said.
Tickets will be available at the door, with credit cards accepted: $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 17 and under. The museum is located at the corner of Brand and Wilson, next to Muay Thai School. Parking is available at the 4-story tower at 222 N. Orange Street, with the first 90 minutes free.
The film will soon be available on streaming services including Tubi, Amazon, and YouTube. Previous installments can be viewed immediately on Tubi: The Match-Stick Flame and The Match-Stick Flame 2: Lunada Bay.
