Martha Wash and Marsha Warfield Bring 'It's Raining Queens' to the Midwest for Two Special Shows

Two-time Grammy nominee Martha Wash and acclaimed comedian and actress Marsha Warfield are bringing their celebrated live show, It's Raining Queens, to the Midwest for a limited two-city engagement this October. The event combines Wash's powerhouse vocals with Warfield's razor-sharp wit for an evening that is part concert, part comedy, and part intimate conversation.

The Midwest Weekend Tour includes a performance on Friday, October 2, at the Halloran Centre Theatre & Stage 1 in Memphis, Tennessee, followed by a show on Saturday, October 3, at City Winery Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. According to the announcement, the show offers an experience that cannot be streamed or duplicated, celebrating nostalgia without living in the past and comedy without losing heart.

Wash, known as the unmistakable voice behind multi-platinum classics such as It's Raining Men, Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now), Everybody Everybody, and Strike It Up, continues to inspire audiences through one of popular music's most recognizable voices. Warfield has spent decades making audiences laugh as the beloved Roz Russell on NBC's Night Court and more recently as recurring fan favorite Louise Green on Netflix's The Upshaws, while maintaining a celebrated stand-up comedy career.

Tickets go on sale Friday, July 24, 2026, following a special presale beginning Wednesday, July 22. For tickets and additional information, visit www.marthawash.com.

The collaboration between Wash and Warfield highlights the enduring appeal of live entertainment that blends music and comedy, offering audiences a rare opportunity to witness two legendary performers share the stage in an intimate setting. This tour underscores the growing demand for hybrid live experiences that go beyond traditional concerts or comedy shows.
