Loulou Lollipop, a Certified B Corporation known for premium baby essentials, has introduced the Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap, a new addition to its Big Dreams sleep collection. The product is designed to address the common challenge of babies escaping swaddles, a problem founder Angel Kho personally experienced with her first daughter. The wrap features a soft, silent, and secure closure that wraps around the torso, providing gentle tension and womb-like comfort while allowing legs to move freely, similar to a traditional sleep bag. It is available in three popular prints and extends the collection, which already includes the award-winning Sleep Bag, back to the newborn stage.
The Swaddle Wrap is a finalist for the Baby Safety Award of Excellence from the Baby Safety Alliance. The winner is determined by public vote, which is open until September 13, 2026, at babysafetyalliance.org/page/parents-pick. Kho emphasized the importance of parent input, noting that the vote takes about a minute. The product is made from TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric, which is breathable and helps regulate body temperature, and features insulation blending 30% TENCEL™ Lyocell with 70% DuPont™ Sorona®, a plant-based fiber derived from corn. It is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, ensuring all components are tested for harmful substances.
Kho's inspiration came from her own struggles with traditional swaddles. Her daughter would frequently wiggle an arm out, waking herself up. Kho tried various methods, including elastic bands, but none worked. She recalls the exhaustion of those nights. The Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap is the product she wished she had, and she believes it is a one-time purchase for parents. The company spent years perfecting the details, resulting in a swaddle that meets the needs of both babies and parents.
The Swaddle Wrap is now available at LoulouLollipop.com and LoulouLollipop.ca, with more prints planned. The product's launch underscores Loulou Lollipop's commitment to safety, sustainability, and modern design. As a finalist for the Baby Safety Award, the wrap could gain recognition that helps parents make informed choices. The public vote ensures that parents have a direct say in which product excels in safety, making the award particularly meaningful.
