Loughlin Law, P.A., a Boca Raton-based firm, announced that attorney Curtis Davis, Esq. has joined as Of Counsel. Davis brings a distinctive background to the firm’s personal injury practice: he began his legal career representing insurance companies and their insureds in cases involving catastrophic multi-car accidents, wrongful death, product liability, and negligent security. That experience provides him with an insider’s understanding of how insurers evaluate, defend, and resolve claims—knowledge he now uses to advocate for injured individuals and families.

Davis’s transition from defense to plaintiff’s work is a notable shift that can benefit clients by exposing the tactics and strategies used by insurance companies. In 2022, Davis founded Davis Trial Law, a boutique Florida firm focused on personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, and business and insurance disputes. His practice has emphasized individualized attention and dedicated representation, aligning with Loughlin Law’s client-centered approach.
Davis also brings substantial courtroom and trial experience. He is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Warrington College of Business, with minors in History and Leadership. He later earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, serving on the executive board of Moot Court and being selected for the Order of Barristers in recognition of his work in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing. He has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2012 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
His professional involvement includes leadership roles with the Stephen R. Booher Inn of Court and Craig S. Barnard American Inn of Court, as well as membership in the Florida Justice Association, Palm Beach County Justice Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, and Broward County Bar Association.
