LataMed AI Partners with Droguerias Lala to Develop AI Tools for Pharmaceutical and Laboratory Workflows

LataMed AI Corp. (OTC: LMED), a healthcare technology company specializing in digital health and artificial intelligence for Latin America, announced on August 3, 2026, that its Venezuelan subsidiary, LATAMEDAI VE, has signed an agreement with Droguerias Lala C.A. to develop artificial intelligence-supported and automated software tools for pharmaceutical and laboratory workflows. The collaboration will focus on designing, developing, testing, and evaluating customized technology to support selected processes, including pharmaceutical research, laboratory testing, quality control, documentation, operational coordination, and data analysis.

The proposed technology is expected to incorporate software tools that organize and analyze information generated during pharmaceutical development and laboratory activities. Planned functionalities may include workflow automation, testing coordination, document management, data review, quality-control support, and predictive analytics to help qualified personnel identify potential inconsistencies or operational issues at an earlier stage. The parties will begin by identifying specific workflows to be addressed, defining technical and operational requirements, and establishing a phased development and testing process. They also intend to implement appropriate confidentiality, information-security, data-management, and access-control procedures.

Dr. Kevin Rodan Levy, CEO of LataMed AI, stated, "This agreement represents an opportunity to apply our artificial intelligence and automation capabilities within complex pharmaceutical and laboratory environments. Our objective is to work with Droguerias Lala to develop responsible technology that supports data analysis, documentation, testing coordination, quality-control processes, and other operational requirements while preserving appropriate professional oversight."

The collaboration aligns with LataMed AI's broader strategy of expanding its digital infrastructure and AI-supported tools for healthcare providers, pharmacies, laboratories, and institutions. Management believes that successfully developed technology could be adapted for other pharmaceutical, laboratory, and healthcare organizations in Venezuela and Latin America, subject to separate agreements, successful testing, and regulatory requirements. The agreement also outlines that the parties will evaluate ownership, licensing, and intellectual property rights for any developed software or data.

It is important to note that the proposed technology is designed as a decision-support and workflow-management resource and will not independently approve pharmaceutical formulas, laboratory results, medical products, or regulatory submissions. All scientific and regulatory determinations will remain the responsibility of qualified professionals and applicable authorities. The agreement establishes a framework for development but does not guarantee a specific implementation timeline, commercial deployment, or financial outcomes.

LataMed AI is also developing AI-supported platforms such as CardioAI, PulmoAI, and NeuroAI to assist healthcare professionals in evaluating cardiovascular, pulmonary, and neurological health information. These platforms are subject to continued development and regulatory approval. For more information, visit https://latamed.ai or review the company's SEC filings at https://www.sec.gov.
