LaFleur Minerals Expands Land Holdings in Abitibi Gold Belt Ahead of Beacon Mill Restart

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) (FSE: 3WK0) is continuing to expand its property holdings in the prolific Abitibi Gold Belt of eastern Canada, the largest gold-producing region in the country. The company announced the acquisition of 100% right, title and interest in 27 mineral claims immediately adjacent to its recently acquired McKenzie East Project near Val-d'Or, Québec. This addition of 701 hectares brings LaFleur's total acreage in the renowned greenstone belt to over 57,083 acres (approximately 23,101 hectares, or 231 square kilometers).

The new claims have a historical gold showing and are currently active and in good standing until June 12, 2027. LaFleur anticipates an aggressive exploration strategy on these claims, which are strategically located adjacent to the McKenzie East Project acquired in April. The company's growing land package positions it to capitalize on the region's rich geological potential.

In parallel with its land acquisition strategy, LaFleur is advancing plans to restart the Beacon Gold Mill. The mill, which ceased operations in 2022, is expected to resume production in the coming months after a series of refurbishing upgrades. This timing is particularly favorable as gold prices are currently far above the levels when the mill stopped operations, potentially enhancing the economics of the restart.

The company's near-term gold producer status is reinforced by its ability to process material from its own properties as well as from third parties. The Beacon Mill has a permitted capacity of 200 tonnes per day and is located in the heart of the Abitibi region, providing logistical advantages.
