On January 22, 2026, the Church of Scientology Dallas hosted an interfaith evening of open communication and learning, drawing around 100 leaders and parishioners from the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The event was organized in partnership with Sharing Sacred Spaces, a national group formed after 9/11 to overcome bias and polarization through immersive education. Guests toured the church's course rooms, learned about Scientology's practical tools for life, observed how one-on-one spiritual counseling is conducted, and explored the humanitarian programs sponsored by the church. They also learned about Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard.
The Church of Scientology Dallas, which opened its current building in April 2009, is committed to continued interfaith involvement to address social issues. Sharing Sacred Spaces aims to highlight common humanity, and the event underscored that issues like drug abuse, crime, poor education, and troubled homes affect all communities regardless of faith. The Interfaith Alliance of Irving, of which the church is a member, held its monthly meeting at the same location and supported the evening. Local Scientology representatives have long worked with the alliance on food and clothing drives, Peace Day celebrations, and visits to other places of worship.
