The private reception, co-hosted by the luxury apartment community and ChinatownVegas.com, honored photographers, videographers, food personalities, and storytellers whose work has amplified the neighborhood's cultural and commercial appeal.
Emceed by writer and City Cast correspondent Jason Harris, the event recognized 20 honorees across five categories, mirroring their earlier introduction in the 'This Week in Chinatown' series. Attendees included notable creators such as @lasvegasfill, @brandonfromvegas, @wheretogovegas, and @baileyzeats, among others. Each received a custom plaque commemorating their contributions, which Joe Muscaglione, founder of ChinatownVegas.com and Chinatown Amplify, emphasized were about more than just restaurant posts: 'These creators have helped the world see why' the corridor matters, he said, referencing the 23.9 million annual visits to Las Vegas Chinatown.
The culinary aspect was a highlight, with chefs and restaurants showcasing signature dishes. Sparrow + Wolf and Lamaii, both recently recommended by the MICHELIN Guide, offered wood-fired Isaan sausage and garlicky crispy prawns, respectively. Chef Steve Kestler of Aroma Latin American Cocina created a special Chinatown Ceviche, while Shanghai Taste served abalone and sea cucumber meatballs. Double Zero Pie & Pub debuted its New York-style pizza, and other participants included China Mama, Mama's House × Durango Social Club, O.Onigiri, Noodlehead, Mochi!, Moignet Café, and Milk Bread. Beverage pairings came from The Alchemist Bar & Restaurant and wine expert Paul Ellis.
Among the distinguished guests were rock photographer David Plastik and music publicist Mitch Schneider, who praised the event on Facebook as a 'meaningful event' honoring creators 'who've helped put Las Vegas Chinatown on the map.' The collective participation of the culinary and business communities underscored the importance of recognizing the voices that regularly introduce local businesses to new audiences.
