Huddle House, the family dining brand known for breakfast and comfort food, has announced a new incentive package aimed at supporting qualified operators and rewarding multi-unit growth. The move comes as the brand reports strong development momentum, including over 120 signed agreements in the last three years and recent multi-unit deals across Texas, the Southeast, and the Midwest.
Peter Ortiz, Chief Development Officer at Ascent Hospitality Management, Huddle House's parent company, emphasized the brand's confidence in its operators. "This incentive package reflects the confidence we have in our brand and in the operators who choose to grow with us," he said. "We are seeing increasing interest from accomplished multi-unit operators who know their markets and want to build something lasting with a brand that continues to evolve while staying true to the hospitality guests know and love. This package gives them real financial support to move quickly and grow with confidence."
The incentive package includes several key components. First, new locations receive 0% royalties for the first year when franchisees purchase three or more restaurants. This structure allows franchisees to stabilize operations, build local awareness, and reach profitability faster in each new market. Second, operators committing to multiple locations receive reduced franchise fees on each additional unit, lowering upfront costs and rewarding long-term investment. Third, franchisees who open a location at least three months ahead of their contractual date receive an additional three months of royalty abatement, incentivizing speed to market.
Huddle House has been in business for over 60 years and operates in the $285 billion breakfast restaurant category, with more than 300 locations open and in development nationwide. The brand offers a scalable growth model suitable for various settings, including colleges, airports, casinos, military bases, and travel plazas. Streamlined prototypes and flexible formats, such as streetside and non-traditional locations, allow operators to adapt to different markets.
Franchisees benefit from multiple revenue streams anchored by breakfast, along with an elevated Huddle House Express menu that balances innovation with guest favorites. The brand provides hands-on real estate and construction support to accelerate development, positioning operators for long-term success.
