Martin Vogt, 44, has taken over as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding company founder Christian Hamann, 55, who stepped down from the CEO role at his own request after nearly 17 years. Hamann will remain with the management team as Chief Financial Officer, a position he had already assumed responsibility for in May 2026.
The succession plan, which the company said was carefully prepared over the long term, is designed to ensure continuity in corporate leadership and a clear distribution of management responsibilities. Vogt has been with the hep global Group since early 2024 and most recently served as Chief Project Officer, overseeing global project development. In that role, he played a key part in the strategic and operational advancement of the project business. As CFO, Hamann will focus on the financial management of the company. The management team is rounded out by Georg von Eichendorff Strachwitz, who has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2021.
