The evening event, held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., gathered local leaders, business community members, and representatives from elected officials' offices to honor the store's legacy as a longstanding fixture in San Ramon.
The ceremony began in front of the store, with Danielle Cook, President and CEO of the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce, opening the program and introducing Chamber leadership and visiting dignitaries. Terry Koehne, Chairman of the Chamber's Board of Directors, and Peter Niles, representing the Chamber Ambassadors, offered remarks, followed by the presentation of a commemorative plaque from the Chamber. Representatives from the offices of Senator Tim Grayson and Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan also attended and spoke, underscoring the occasion's significance to the broader community.
Brandon Heller, who spoke on behalf of the store, reflected on the family's three decades of serving San Ramon and the relationships built along the way.
