A study published in JACC: Advances has found that a risk prediction algorithm incorporating HeartBeam Inc.'s (NASDAQ: BEAT) portable ECG device can accurately identify heart attack risk in patients presenting with chest pain. The proof-of-concept study, which evaluated 184 patients, showed that the algorithm achieved an area under the curve (AUC) of 86.5% using a single HeartBeam ECG reading combined with patient risk factors and symptoms.
