The inaugural AI+OPC Innovation and Development Conference concluded on June 30 in Hangzhou, China, drawing approximately 400 delegates from government, industry, finance, and AI enterprises. The event, held in Shangcheng District, focused on the emerging concept of one-person companies (OPCs) in the AI era, aiming to position Hangzhou as a national benchmark for AI+OPC entrepreneurship.
During the opening ceremony, officials released the 2026 national OPC development observation report, Hangzhou's 2026–2028 action plan and supporting policies, and a catalog of actionable AI+OPC application scenarios. Attendees also received an interpretation of specifications for AI-enabled OPC community services. The ceremony featured the launch of the AI+OPC Community Alliance initiative and marked the official construction of the national AI+OPC entrepreneurship hub.
Keynote speakers included Pan Yunhe, former executive vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Liang Gui, former executive vice governor of Jiangxi Province; and Zou Ling, head of Shangcheng District's single-member unicorn startup community. They shared insights on AI innovation and cross-industry integration. A panel discussion brought together representatives from Moshu OPC Community, Soochow University, Qingju Hub, and Puhua Capital.
Concurrent events included an OPC capital-industry matchmaking salon, a symposium on industry-education integration, and a national exchange forum for AI+OPC community practitioners. The conference underscored OPCs as a new engine for economic vitality and high-quality development.
