Golden Goose Resources Ltd. has entered into a definitive agreement with Valcheta Exploraciones S.A.S. to acquire up to a 100% interest in the Gran Esperanza Project, a high-grade epithermal gold-silver property in Rio Negro Province, Argentina. The agreement marks a significant milestone for the company, reinforcing its strategy of securing district-scale precious metal assets in proven mining jurisdictions.
The Gran Esperanza Project spans approximately 44,400 hectares in the Los Menucos District, part of the North Patagonian Massif, a region known for high-grade precious metal potential. The property is surrounded by major operators, including Southern Copper, and is located near the Calcatreu Project currently under development. Historical exploration has mapped over 10 kilometers of low-sulfidation epithermal gold vein exposures, with veins averaging 1-5 meters in apparent width. Trenching has yielded channel samples grading up to 2.0 meters at 24.0 g/t gold, highlighting the high-grade potential from surface.
Golden Goose completed a comprehensive due diligence process, including a site visit in December 2025, during which four rock-chip samples were collected from exposed mineralized veins. Three samples returned gold values above 2.0 g/t Au, with one grading 14.34 g/t Au, confirming the high-grade nature of the mineralized system. The project benefits from excellent infrastructure, being situated approximately two kilometers from a paved highway with gentle topography and numerous secondary roads.
Under the option terms, Golden Goose can earn up to 100% of the project through staged cash payments and exploration expenditures totaling $1,889,500 and $2,599,000, respectively. The project is subject to a 1.0% net smelter return royalty, of which Golden Goose can purchase 0.5% for US$1.0 million. The company retains flexibility to accelerate payments or expenditures, allowing for an accelerated timeline if warranted.
Upon exercising the first option, a joint venture will be formed with Golden Goose as operator holding a 51% interest. Alternatively, the company may proceed directly to a 90% ownership by exercising the second option. Full 100% ownership is achieved upon exercising the third option.
CEO Dustin Nanos stated, “Signing the Definitive Agreement for Gran Esperanza represents an important milestone and transformative step for Golden Goose. The Project stands out due to its favorable structural and geological setting, confirmation of numerous surface-exposed vein networks, excellent historical reported grades, and outstanding site access.”
Golden Goose Resources also holds the Goldfire Claims in Quebec, Canada, covering 83 claims in the Urban-Barry Greenstone Belt. The company has 63.6 million shares outstanding and significant insider ownership of 30%.
