Jenifer Mattioli, founder of the foundation and mother of Gillian Grace Ragan, who died at age 14, emphasized the importance of accessible support. 'When you lose a child, your whole world changes in an instant,' she said. 'This fundraiser is about bringing our community together to ensure that no family has to face that darkness alone.'
The silent auction will include items such as original artwork, sports memorabilia, dining experiences, and wellness packages. Bidding opens online before the event and remains live throughout the afternoon at the venue via QR codes. The Gillian Ragan Foundation provides financial assistance for individual and family therapy, grief counseling, trauma-informed care, EMDR, psychiatry, and support groups through its Healing Assistance Program. It was established by Mattioli and co-founded by Gillian's brother, Triston Ragan.
