FORTEC Elektronik Aktiengesellschaft, a leading provider of display technology and power supply solutions, is reinforcing its management structure with new appointments at several subsidiaries. The moves are part of a broader reorganization aimed at devolving greater responsibility and decision-making authority to regional divisions while leveraging the strengths of an international group.
In the Czech Republic, Martin Novak became Managing Director of FORTEC CZ on June 1, 2026. He is responsible for the existing production facility in Dysina and will oversee the planned relocation to a new production site and expansion. FORTEC CZ manufactures electronic assemblies and DC/DC converters, and also assembles displays with touchscreens. Novak brings over 20 years of international management experience in logistics, production, automotive, and operational management. His expertise includes production and logistics management, process optimization, change management, and organizational development.
At FORTEC US, Paul Hooper took over as Managing Director and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) on July 1, 2026. Previously, he served as Managing Director of Sales at FORTEC UK, where he strategically directed sales and marketing and successfully reorganized the business. Now, he aims to replicate that success in the US market, focusing on organic growth and expanding market presence. Together with co-Managing Director Scott Makboulian, Hooper will broaden the company's footprint in North America. With more than 30 years in the international electronics industry, Hooper brings extensive expertise in market analysis, leadership, and sales.
Rhett Evans will succeed Paul Hooper at FORTEC UK effective September 8, 2026. With over 25 years in the electronics industry, Evans has deep knowledge in embedded computing, display technologies, and customized system solutions. His background includes electronic engineering and years of sales and management experience.
Patrick von Unold will become Managing Director of FORTEC Integrated on October 1, 2026. FORTEC Integrated is an international provider of display technology and embedded computing, playing a key role in the group's research and development. Von Unold brings extensive international management experience in electronics, with expertise in embedded electronics, display and touch technologies, and human-machine interfaces. His background spans medical technology, automation, and transport, combining technical knowledge with product strategy and manufacturing processes.
