Evolution Metals & Technologies Projects $400M-$460M Fiscal 2027 Revenue as Pohang Expansion Advances

Evolution Metals & Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: EMAT) has issued initial revenue guidance for fiscal years 2026 and 2027, projecting $5 million to $8 million for fiscal 2026 and $400 million to $460 million for fiscal 2027. The guidance reflects the company's transition from its current production base to the first full year benefiting from its expansion in Pohang, Republic of Korea. The announcement underscores the company's aggressive growth strategy and its potential to become a major player in the critical materials and rare earth magnet market.

The Pohang expansion is a key driver of the projected revenue surge. Thirteen additional ULVAC sintered magnet production machines are scheduled for delivery and installation in November 2026. Once operational, these machines are expected to increase annual rare earth magnet production capacity from approximately 1,000 metric tons to approximately 10,000 metric tons, including approximately 6,000 metric tons of high-performance sintered magnets. This tenfold increase in capacity positions EM&T to meet rising global demand for rare earth magnets, which are essential components in electric vehicles, wind turbines, and consumer electronics.

Supporting the expansion, EM&T plans to increase electrical infrastructure serving the Pohang operations from 130 MW to approximately 750 MW. The company also intends to acquire approximately 1.3 million square feet of adjacent land and has received a conditionally approved grant of approximately $20.7 million from Pohang City and Gyeongbuk Province. These investments in infrastructure and land acquisition demonstrate a long-term commitment to scaling operations and enhancing production capabilities.

In addition to capacity expansion, EM&T has secured non-China NdPr metal sourced from SRE Vietnam and announced Tier-1 OEM quality certifications across six grades of high-performance sintered NdFeB magnets. This achievement is significant as it reduces reliance on Chinese supply chains for critical materials, a strategic priority for many Western governments and industries. The company's vertically integrated supply chain, spanning end-of-life electronics and batteries, high-grade concentrates, and finished rare earth magnets, further strengthens its competitive position.

The fiscal 2027 revenue guidance reflects anticipated utilization during the production ramp rather than the revenue potential of the planned capacity at full utilization. This conservative approach suggests that the company may have additional upside once operations stabilize and reach full capacity. The guidance also highlights the importance of the Pohang expansion in driving future growth and solidifying EM&T's role in the global rare earth supply chain.

For investors, the news is important because it provides concrete financial targets and a timeline for the Pohang expansion, which is central to the company's growth story. The projected revenue increase from single-digit millions to hundreds of millions in just one year is substantial and indicates the scale of the opportunity. Moreover, the focus on non-China sourcing and Tier-1 OEM certifications aligns with broader trends toward supply chain diversification and national security concerns regarding critical materials. As the world transitions to clean energy and electric mobility, demand for rare earth magnets is expected to soar, and EM&T's expanded capacity could make it a key supplier.
