ESGold Corp. (CSE: ESAU) (OTCQB: ESAUF) has announced the launch of a 70 square kilometers district-scale Ambient Noise Topography (ANT) survey at its flagship Montauban Gold-Silver Project in Québec. This second-phase survey is seven times larger than the initial 10 km² survey completed in 2025, which formed the basis for ESGold's integrated 3D geological model. The model has been instrumental in revealing the project's full potential, highlighting a deep and expanding mineralized corridor extending to approximately 900 meters and over at least two kilometers of strike.
“This next phase marks an important step in defining the full scale of Montauban,” said Gordon Robb, ESGold’s CEO. “Our initial ANT survey and integrated 3D model revealed a deep and expanding mineralized corridor extending to approximately 900 meters and over at least two kilometers of strike. The expanded 70 square kilometer program is seven times larger than our initial survey and represents the most comprehensive geophysical assessment ever conducted across the Montauban district.”
The ANT survey uses ambient seismic noise to map subsurface structures, enabling the identification of mineralized zones without invasive drilling. By expanding the survey area, ESGold aims to delineate additional targets and assess the full extent of mineralization across the district. This approach aligns with the company's strategy of using innovative geophysical techniques to de-risk exploration and accelerate project development.
ESGold is a fully permitted, pre-production resource company focused on clean mining and exploration innovation. The Montauban property, located 80 kilometers west of Quebec City, is central to the company's near-term production goals and district-scale discovery potential. The results of the expanded ANT survey are expected to guide future drilling programs and support the advancement of the project toward feasibility.
