Elrod Pope Accident & Injury Attorneys, a personal injury law firm serving clients throughout South Carolina and North Carolina, announced that it is now accepting entries for its 2026 Elrod Pope Legacy Scholarship program. The program will award two deserving students from those states with academic scholarships of $5,000 each, totaling $10,000.
The goal of the Elrod Pope Legacy Scholarship is to honor the law firm's history and support the Carolinas' future leaders. It is named after Luke Elrod and Jack Leader, whose integrity, dedication to the law, and service to their communities continue to inspire the law firm today. By awarding the $5,000 scholarships, the firm seeks to inspire the next generation to pursue careers rooted in excellence, service, and purpose, and ensure that Luke's and Jack's legacy endures.
To compete for one of the scholarships, a student must be an eligible student in South Carolina or North Carolina, complete the application form, and submit a minimum 1,000-word essay on the issue of drunk driving among young adults. The law firm is seeking thoughtful, well-researched ideas that offer a fresh take on the dangers of drinking and driving. Complete information about the Elrod Pope Legacy Scholarship, including its terms and conditions, can be found on the law firm's website.
Only one application is allowed per student. Students must follow the program's terms and conditions, complete all application requirements, and submit their application by March 1, 2026. The firm will announce the Elrod Pope Legacy Scholarship winners on April 1, 2026.
