Element Academy: A New Middle-Grade Fantasy Novel Blends Elemental Magic with Coming-of-Age Storytelling

Element Academy, the debut middle-grade fantasy novel by Adhvita Nagalla and co-author Tashvi Kolla, is now available on Amazon. The novel introduces readers to eleven-year-old Amaya Abigail Ravin, a sixth-grader in Farmington Hills, Michigan, who discovers her connection to elemental forces and is drawn into a hidden world where students train to command Nature, Water, Fire, Air, and Ice. The story is rooted in an ancient prophecy set in the land of Golden Harmony, where gods once forged a sacred pact to hold back dark powers.

The book, with 24 chapters, a mythic prologue, and an epilogue hinting at future adventures, balances high-stakes magical conflict with emotional depth. It features characters such as Amaya's overprotective family and her friendships and rivalries at the academy. The authors aim to provide a positive, life-affirming message for young readers.

Described as a natural companion to Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series and Chris Colfer's The Land of Stories, Element Academy is suitable for classroom use and school libraries. It is independently published and available at this link.

Adhvita Nagalla, originally from Michigan and now based in Texas, conceived the story in third grade and authored it with Tashvi Kolla, an aspiring attorney from Texas. Together, they have created a debut novel that stands out in the middle-grade fantasy genre with its original elemental mythology and emotionally grounded characters.
