DTLA ArtNight, Downtown Los Angeles's monthly celebration of arts and culture, has announced its largest expansion to date with the official addition of the Fashion District, effective August 6, 2026. This move connects Grand Avenue, the Historic Core, and the Fashion District into a unified cultural experience, reflecting the organization's mission to activate the city and showcase its diversity.
The expansion introduces new partnerships and activations across the district, including the Bendix Building, Kelly O'Brien Atelier × Not For Resale LA, CRE8, Mary at The STILE Hotel, and Zenith Gallery. These venues join the event, inviting visitors to explore the creative and entrepreneurial spirit that has transformed the Fashion District into a hub for galleries, artist studios, and hospitality.
Kelly O'Brien, founder of Kelly O'Brien Atelier × Not For Resale LA, expressed enthusiasm: "Joining DTLA ArtNight is an exciting opportunity to welcome visitors into our working studio and share both the creative process and the finished work. Experiences like DTLA ArtNight strengthen the Fashion District as a destination for art, fashion, and creativity."
Mary at The STILE Hotel, located in the historic United Artists Building, also joins as a hospitality partner. A representative noted, "Mary is honored to be part of DTLA ArtNight and to support the continued growth of the Fashion District. Whether guests stop in for coffee during the day or cocktails and live music in the evening, we look forward to welcoming the DTLA ArtNight community."
The expansion also includes new Grand Avenue programming, notably a special classical music collaboration between Grand Performances and The Colburn School at Spiral Court at California Plaza on August 6 at 6:00 p.m. The program will feature works by Joseph Bologne, Johann Sebastian Bach, Reena Esmail, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, and Astor Piazzolla, performed by students and alumni of The Colburn School.

In addition, DATALAND joins with its inaugural exhibition, Machine Dreams: Rainforest, described as the world's first omni-sensory AI art experience spanning over 25,000 square feet. Refik Anadol, Co-Founder and Artistic Director, stated, "For many years, we have dreamed of a place where audience and artwork could merge. At DATALAND, that dream has now become reality, and we are excited to open our doors and share it with the public."
DTLA ArtNight also features a hands-on photography experience hosted by Samy's Camera and Sony Electronics at Emergent Gallery, 125 W. 4th Street, from 6:00–9:00 p.m. Participants can borrow Sony cameras and lenses, photograph the event, and enter a competition with a $2,000 Grand Prize in Sony gear. Roui Kamienowicz, COO of Samy's Camera, noted, "This contest is about bringing people together through photography. Whether you're an experienced photographer or just getting started, we want to encourage people to get out, explore Los Angeles, try incredible Sony equipment, and share their unique perspective."
The Biltmore Los Angeles will host photographer Andrei Duman's exhibition The Art of X Rays, accompanied by live jazz and an artist book signing.
