TUCSON, Ariz. — Desert Sky Roofing, a veteran-owned roofing contractor that has served Tucson families for years, is now operating under a new name: DSR Roofing. The company announced the change on June 13, 2026, stating that while the name is shorter, the values and standards that have guided the business remain exactly the same.
Owner Bill Kimbley, a retired U.S. Air Force veteran with more than 20 years of service, started the company with his son to provide Tucson homeowners with an alternative to unethical contractors. “We simplified the name to better reflect who we've become,” Kimbley said. “But the heart of it doesn't change. Tucson is home. These are our neighbors. A lot of the people we started out working for, we now call friends, and some of them feel like family.”
DSR Roofing’s core mission is to protect homeowners from shoddy work and immoral practices by providing what the company calls “legendary roofing experiences.” This means delivering not just a finished roof but an entire process worth talking about, from the initial inspection to the final walkthrough.
