Debt.com is set to announce the winner of the Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator category at the 2026 FinTalk Awards, an honor that recognizes digital creators making financial education more accessible to the Hispanic community in the United States. The award underscores the critical role of culturally and linguistically relevant financial information in helping millions of Hispanics make informed money decisions. Public voting remains open through October 9, and participants can cast up to three votes per day to support their favorite creators.
The five nominees for the Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator are María Mercedes Velasquez, Daniela Salazar, Alex / MoneyAcción, Elizabeth Inciarte, and Xavier Serbia. Velasquez, a certified public accountant with a master’s degree in finance, helps women over 40 take control of their money and invest. Salazar, known as NeuroDany, is the author of two books on money and personal growth and educates on investing, trading, and personal finance. MoneyAcción uses a simple, humorous approach to explain saving, investing, and debt management. Inciarte, a mother and content creator, demonstrates that you don’t need to be a millionaire to start investing. Serbia, a communicator with over two decades of experience, is recognized for explaining complex economic concepts clearly and practically.
“For millions of Hispanics in the United States, having access to clear and trustworthy financial education in Spanish can make a real difference in how they manage their money and build their financial future,” said Don Silvestri, President of Debt.com. “We are excited to see a new generation of creators using digital platforms to break down barriers, simplify complex topics, and empower our community to make better financial decisions.”
The FinTalk Awards were created by Debt.com to recognize creators and institutions transforming how people learn about and manage their finances. The Spanish-language category specifically addresses a community for which access to clear, relevant, and culturally accessible financial information is crucial. Previous winners include Rey Martínez in 2025 and Juan Sánchez in 2024, highlighting the awards’ ongoing commitment to elevating Hispanic financial educators.
The implications of this award extend beyond recognition. As financial misinformation proliferates online, trusted Spanish-language creators serve as vital intermediaries, helping consumers navigate saving, investing, debt management, and planning. By spotlighting these voices, Debt.com aims to amplify their reach and reinforce the importance of financial literacy in a community that often faces unique economic challenges. The winner will be announced on October 9, 2026, following the close of voting. Consumers can learn more about the nominees and cast their votes by visiting the official Spanish-language 2026 FinTalk Awards page.
