Connected Solutions Group (CSG), a national leader in wireless distribution and deployment services, has announced the private acquisition of 5Gstore and its parent company, MDG Connected Solutions. The transaction, targeted to close in February 2026, marks a significant milestone in the expansion of wireless connectivity capabilities across the United States.
The acquisition brings together two well-established organizations with complementary strengths in cellular hardware, services, and customer experience. 5Gstore will continue to operate under its existing brand, with founders Michael and Julia Ginsberg remaining in leadership roles and overseeing day-to-day operations following the close of the deal.
"At this stage in our careers, we weren't simply looking for an exit," said 5Gstore founder Mike Ginsberg, "but a partner who sees the value in what we have built and has the desire to take it to the next level. Julia and I had opportunities over the years, but decided we wanted to do right by our employees and the business we have built to ensure its future success. We believe the team at CSG not only values our product and our team but has the creativity to move our brand forward into further connectivity generations."
A core principle guiding the acquisition is operational continuity. 5Gstore will retain its established brand identity, and founders Michael and Julia Ginsberg will remain in their leadership roles to manage the business moving forward. This approach ensures that 5Gstore's specialized culture—built on decades of SEO leadership, fulfillment accuracy, and world-class technical support for products including the latest 5G Router hardware—remains fully intact for customers and partners alike.
"To say this is a dream come true may sound hyperbolic," said CSG CEO Michael Pittman, "but this is something we have talked about and ideated around for many years. The idea of combining forces with industry legends Mike and Julia Ginsberg, founders and operators of 5Gstore, to collaborate and build on each other's strengths and weaknesses and form a unified customer-experience giant has been a literal dream. And here we are," he continued.
Customers, partners, and manufacturers should expect full business continuity following the close of the transaction. Ordering, fulfillment, technical support, and vendor relationships will remain unchanged, with additional capabilities introduced progressively over time as the two organizations integrate their operations.
CSG has built a strong national reputation for large-scale wireless deployment and enablement services, including programming, staging, kitting, logistics, installation, and managed support. The company maintains deep carrier relationships and a nationwide operational footprint supporting enterprise, government, and SMB customers across a wide range of connectivity needs.
The acquisition is designed to expand capabilities rather than consolidate or reduce operations. Customers will benefit from additional deployment and managed service options, increased execution capacity, and broader reach across the country—all while continuing to work with the same trusted teams and processes they rely on today. This includes continued access to industry-leading 5G Router solutions and cellular connectivity products that 5Gstore has long been recognized for delivering.
For OEMs and channel partners, the combined organization offers a stronger sales engine, enhanced content and demand generation capabilities, and the ability to support national-scale execution with greater efficiency and reach than either company could achieve independently.
Employees across both organizations will gain access to expanded growth opportunities, a larger operational support structure, and increased investment in the existing strengths that have made both CSG and 5Gstore respected names in the wireless connectivity industry.
The transaction is expected to close in mid-February 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
