Crude Energy Beverages Targets Working-Class Consumers at ECRM Session

Crude Energy Beverages Inc., a North American beverage company that positions itself as the brand for the working class, will attend the ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session from September 14-17 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The company aims to introduce its range of energy drinks, flavored teas, and Crude Brew Coffee to retailers as part of its expansion strategy in the U.S. market.

The brand was created specifically for individuals employed in demanding industries such as oil and gas, construction, trucking, farming, welding, mechanics, and skilled trades. According to President Cory Yeik, the company understands the lifestyle of these workers and developed beverages that resonate with them. “We built Crude for the people putting in long shifts, getting their hands dirty and getting the job done every day,” Yeik stated.

The origins of Crude Energy trace back to 2012 with the launch of Rig Pig Apparel, a clothing and personal protective equipment line for oil and gas workers. The success of that venture inspired the founders to create a beverage brand for the same community. Beverage development began in 2019, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed U.S. market entry. The founders continued to refine the products, including the addition of Crude Brew Coffee, before resuming distribution plans.

Today, Crude Energy's portfolio features bold energy drink flavors like Fossil Fuel, Heavy Crude, and Overtime Blues, alongside flavored teas and coffee. The coffee, sourced from Honduran farmers, is available in Dark Roast, Medium Roast, and Black Gold varieties.

CEO Kimberley Johnson emphasized the importance of serving the working class, a demographic often overlooked by beverage brands. “The working class is a huge part of this country, but you don't see many beverage brands built specifically around them,” she said. “Crude Energy is. Whether you're on a rig, behind the wheel of a truck, working a construction site or putting in hours on a farm, we want you to look at a can of Crude and know exactly who it's for.”

The brand's message is captured in the question, “What Fuels You?” At ECRM, Crude Energy will meet with buyers from major health, specialty, food, drug, and mass retail channels to expand its retail footprint. For more information about Crude Energy Beverages, visit crude-energy.com.
