The festival attracted both regular attendees and first-time guests, including newcomers to the neighborhood and visitors from outside California.
The celebration highlighted the street's history as a gathering place for community events. L. Ron Hubbard Way was named in honor of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, whose humanitarian initiatives have addressed illiteracy, drug abuse, and criminality. The church, located at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and L.
