The Crowdfunding Professional Association (CfPA), the leading trade organization for the regulated investment crowdfunding industry, announced the appointment of six new members to its Board of Directors: Dr. Greg Burke, Elizabeth Eichorn, Julian A. Haffner, Danielle Godfrey, Levi Brackman, and Meighan Leon. The appointments, effective for 2026, bring specialized knowledge in academic research, securities law, film finance, startup accounting, platform technology, and regulatory compliance.
Dr. Greg Burke, an assistant professor of accounting at Loyola University Chicago's Quinlan School of Business, researches the economics of investment crowdfunding, focusing on securities regulation and entrepreneurial finance. His work has been cited in congressional testimony and SEC comment letters. Elizabeth Eichorn, a fundraising specialist and business consultant, has coached over 1,000 business owners on capital-raising strategies, including crowdfunding. Julian A. Haffner, a Member at Gordon Feinblatt LLC and Chief Legal Officer of CineBlock, brings over 20 years of experience advising entrepreneurs in media, technology, and financial services, with a focus on helping underrepresented founders access capital.
Danielle Godfrey, founder and President of SetApart Accountancy Corp., has performed over 1,000 reviews and audits for crowdfunding issuers. She also founded Women On The Frontline, a nonprofit supporting women in business. Levi Brackman, Founder and CEO of Invown, a Regulation Crowdfunding platform, previously held senior roles in AI and data science at Priceline and Travelport. Meighan Leon, Chief Legal Officer of DealMaker, guides the platform through regulatory frameworks to expand access to online capital formation.
