At CEDIA Expo 2026 in Denver, BZBGEAR is debuting REEVE™, a new control system designed to unify the entire home under a single interface. The system addresses a common pain point in residential AV: the proliferation of separate remotes, apps, and wall panels that often leave users frustrated. REEVE™ consolidates video, audio, climate, cameras, and other connected devices into one clear, zone-based interface that reflects how people actually live. For custom integrators, REEVE™ eliminates the need for a rack or server PC—the wall-mounted tablet serves as the controller, reducing both hardware costs and installation time. The system is organized by zones rather than devices, allowing integrators to group spaces like living areas, private suites, and outdoor spaces, each controllable independently. Scenes, which are saved presets, let users trigger multiple devices with a single tap. REEVE™ also operates without an internet connection, with cloud services reserved for design, updates, and remote oversight. It is compatible with a wide range of third-party gear, including displays from Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, Sharp, TCL, Hisense, and Panasonic, as well as streaming sources like Chromecast, Apple TV, and Roku TV. The ecosystem comprises REEVE™ Studio for design, REEVE™ Player for daily use, and REEVE™ Cloud for remote management. In addition to REEVE™, BZBGEAR is showcasing its full residential lineup at Booth C900, starting with the XLink-ONE AV-over-IP series. The BG-IPGEAR-XTREME is a multicast transceiver over 1GbE with USB 3.1, while the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-PRO targets larger homes with 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 support, 4K120, video wall and multiview modes, and transmission up to 170 meters over Cat5e. These endpoints are sold individually, allowing integrators to scale systems as needed. BZBGEAR is also demonstrating a range of matrix switchers, from a 4x2 at $199 to the BG-4K-VP44, which combines a seamless 4K60 matrix, video wall processor, and multiviewer in one compact unit. The company's 8K-ready switchers and matrices start at $39 and $299 respectively, and its KVM line includes models starting at $149, addressing the growing home office market. The BG-8K-KVM21A supports 8K60 and 4K at 120Hz, while extension solutions like the USB-C extender at $1,199 carry video, USB 3.2, and 100W charging over a single Cat cable.
BZBGEAR's practical approach to 8K is noteworthy: the company emphasizes that the real benefit of HDMI 2.1 is full 4K at 120Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, which cannot fit in an 18Gbps pipe. Being 8K-ready ensures compatibility without requiring a costly rack.
