Burrow & Associates, LLC, a Georgia-based law firm, has announced the launch of the Burrow & Associates Road to Recovery Scholarship, a $1,000 award designed to assist one deserving student with tuition, books, and other academic expenses. The scholarship is open to students across the United States, including those enrolled in or accepted to accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional programs, as well as community college students, high school seniors, and GED holders.
To apply, students must submit an essay of no more than 1,000 words addressing three prompts about helping others through injury, illness, and hardship. Additionally, applicants must provide a current resume and an unofficial transcript. All materials should be emailed to scholarships@legalatlanta.com, and the recipient will be announced on October 1, 2027.
The scholarship is intentionally broad in its eligibility criteria, welcoming students from any field of study. Applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate a genuine commitment to aiding others during difficult times. Examples of qualifying experiences include caring for a family member after an accident, volunteering with individuals recovering from injury or illness, or assisting a neighbor in rebuilding after a challenging year.
Darrell L. Burrow, founding attorney of Burrow & Associates, emphasized the firm's motivation behind the scholarship: "After a serious injury, recovery depends on the people who step in to help, and we have seen firsthand how much that support matters for our own clients. This scholarship is our way of recognizing students who have taken real action to help others recover and rebuild, and who plan to keep doing that work long after they graduate."
