Boerne, Texas, is gearing up to celebrate American Craft Beer Week, May 11-17, with the 5th Annual Bock Walk on May 16-17. The event highlights the city's six independent craft breweries, each of which will craft a signature Maibock—a traditional German-style lager known for its smooth malt character and springtime appeal. Participating breweries include 28 Songs Brewhouse + Kitchen, Hamby's, Tusculum Brewing Co., Cibolo Creek Brewing Co., Free Roam Brewing Co., and The Dodging Duck Brewhaus.
Beer enthusiasts are invited to explore each location, savor unique Maibock interpretations, and experience the collaborative spirit that defines Boerne's craft beer culture. 'Each brewery brings its own personality and passion to Boerne,' said Tori Bellos with Visit Boerne. 'Together, they create a welcoming destination that both visitors and locals are proud to be part of.'
Attendees can commemorate the event with a limited-edition Boerne craft brewery t-shirt, available for pre-order online. The exclusive design features all six breweries and offers fans a chance to 'rep' Boerne's craft beer community during American Craft Beer Week and beyond. A portion of proceeds from every shirt sold will benefit Paidion Shield, a veteran-run nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting children through safety training and preparedness programs. This partnership showcases the breweries' dedication to craftsmanship and their meaningful impact on the community.
