Atlas Lithium's Neves Project On Track for Q4 2027 Production, Poised to Meet Surging Demand

Atlas Lithium Corporation (NASDAQ: ATLX) has reaffirmed that its 100%-owned and fully permitted Neves Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil, is on track for first commercial production of lithium oxide concentrate in the fourth quarter of 2027. This advancement comes at a critical time when global demand for lithium, a key component in electric vehicle batteries and energy storage systems, continues to surge.

The Neves Project, a vertically integrated mining and processing complex, is designed to produce approximately 150,000 tonnes of lithium oxide concentrate annually. Notably, written product interest from multiple companies already totals more than three times the planned production capacity, underscoring the robust market demand and the project's strategic significance. The Definitive Feasibility Study projects a 145% after-tax internal rate of return, an 11-month payback period, and operating costs of $489 per tonne, highlighting the project's strong economic viability.

Atlas Lithium also reported significant progress on detailed engineering, project management, construction, earthworks, and electromechanical work, with partner contracts finalized at or below Definitive Feasibility Study budget levels. This disciplined execution ensures the project remains on schedule and within budget, mitigating risks common in large-scale mining developments.

The Neves operation is expected to generate more than 5,000 direct and indirect jobs in Brazil's Jequitinhonha Valley, contributing to local economic development. Atlas Lithium holds approximately 557 square kilometers of mineral rights across Brazilian lithium districts, the largest exploration footprint among publicly listed companies in Brazil. The company intends to expand Neves' industrial capacity and develop additional processing facilities across its broader project portfolio, positioning itself for long-term growth in the lithium sector.

This update is crucial for investors and industry stakeholders as it reinforces Atlas Lithium's commitment to delivering a high-return project that aligns with the global transition to clean energy. With the project on track and demand outpacing supply, Atlas Lithium is poised to become a significant supplier in the lithium market, potentially impacting the supply chain for batteries and electric vehicles.
