AtlantisChain Surpasses 1.1 Billion Blocks in 410 Days, Solidifying Position as World's Fastest Blockchain

In a significant milestone for the blockchain industry, AtlantisChain has surpassed 1,100,000,000 blocks within just 410 days of operation, as of July 30, 2026. This achievement solidifies its position as the world's fastest blockchain, with a block time of 0.031 seconds and a throughput of 3,600,000 TPS. The milestone comes approximately eight months after AtlantisChain was recognized as the world's fastest blockchain on November 27, 2025, a distinction reported by over 400 media outlets across 51 countries.

The block height comparison at that moment reveals AtlantisChain's dominance: it recorded 1,100,000,014 blocks, while Solana had 414,249,309, BNB Smart Chain had 113,042,083, and Ethereum had 25,646,777. This means AtlantisChain's block height is 265.5% of Solana's, 973.1% of BNB Smart Chain's, and 4,289.0% of Ethereum's, despite these networks having launched years earlier. Due to its significantly shorter block time, AtlantisChain continues to extend its lead over all other blockchains.

AtlantisChain's early performance was equally remarkable. In its first 179 days of operation, it surpassed the block heights of every existing blockchain, including Bitcoin (within 9 hours), Ethereum (8 days), and Solana (145 days). This rapid ascent is attributed to its innovative Proof of Light (PoL) consensus algorithm, which enables ultra-fast finality and high throughput.

Security is another cornerstone of AtlantisChain's design. Unlike PoW and PoS networks that are vulnerable to quantum attacks, AtlantisChain is quantum-resistant, providing systematic protection against future threats. Transactions on AtlantisChain are final and irreversible within 0.031 seconds, leaving no room for hackers to compromise transactions.

The ecosystem has also launched over 100 ATC-20 standard tokens, including stablecoins pegged to gold, silver, oil, the Chinese yuan, the U.S. dollar, and the British pound. These assets are designed to support global trade and store of value, with the yuan-pegged stablecoin (CNYC) and the dollar-pegged stablecoin (USDA) set to be payment currencies in the upcoming Atlantis Exchange Pro system.

Given these advancements, several country authorities are reportedly in the process of joining AtlantisChain to support their global trade efforts, marking a shift toward a digital economy from a governmental perspective. This revolution in blockchain technology, developed by an MIT-rooted team in the United States, demonstrates that AtlantisChain is not just a faster blockchain but a paradigm shift in how decentralized networks can operate.

As AtlantisChain continues to expand, it is also preparing for the future with AtlantisSpace, an initiative to extend blockchain capabilities into outer space, ensuring uninterrupted operations and interplanetary functionality. With its unmatched speed, security, and scalability, AtlantisChain is poised to lead the Web3 revolution and redefine the boundaries of what is possible in blockchain technology.
