Angkor Resources Drills Initial Program at Andong Bor Copper-Gold Target, Cambodia

Angkor Resources Corp. (TSXV: ANK, OTCQB: ANKOF) has completed the first phase of its diamond drilling program at the Andong Bor copper-gold target in Cambodia, intersecting significant porphyry and skarn mineralization. The company planned a total of 2,800 meters of drilling, with the initial 1,099 meters completed in mid-July on the Thmei North target, a one-square-kilometer copper anomaly. The program is staged around Cambodia's seasonal weather patterns, with the second phase scheduled for early 2027 after the fields dry and crops are harvested.

The first phase consisted of three holes, each drilled to a depth of 400 meters. According to Dennis Ouellette, VP Exploration, “Two of the three holes drilled this year encountered good porphyry and skarn mineralization over the 400 meters each was drilled. Portions of skarn were especially well mineralized. The third hole contained a run of over 200 meters with continuous pyrite mineralization up to 20%.” These results underscore the potential of the Andong Bor license, which spans 100.28 square kilometers across Oddar Meanchey and Banteay Meanchey provinces.

The drilling orientation is strategically designed to intersect mineralized beds effectively. Based on 2025 drilling data, the main controlling structures strike north-northwest and dip steeply to the west. Therefore, holes are drilled to the east to maximize intersection with mineralized sedimentary rocks adjacent to feldspar porphyry diorite dikes. The dikes vary in width from a few meters to tens of meters, and drilling eastward allows the company to alternate through intrusive and sedimentary lithologies, enhancing the potential for significant intercepts.

Core logging is currently underway for the completed holes, with sampling and assaying to follow. The second phase of drilling, comprising at least 1,700 meters, will target the Thmei North and Thmei South areas in 2027. This systematic approach aims to delineate the copper-gold resource at Andong Bor, which is part of Angkor's broader exploration strategy in Cambodia.

The company's qualified person, Dennis Ouellette, B.Sc., P.Geo., a member of APEGA, has reviewed and approved the technical content of this release. Angkor Resources is a leading resource explorer in Cambodia, holding two mineral exploration licenses with multiple copper and gold prospects. In addition, its energy subsidiary, EnerCam Resources Co., Ltd., holds an onshore oil and gas license (Block VIII) covering approximately 4,095 square kilometers, with 2D seismic completed in 2025 and multiple drill targets identified.

These developments at Andong Bor are significant as they demonstrate tangible progress in Cambodia's mining sector, potentially contributing to the country's economic growth. The positive drill results from the initial phase validate the exploration model and warrant further investment in the project. As Angkor continues to advance its mineral and energy initiatives, the outcomes will be closely watched by investors and industry stakeholders.
