Ali Zokaee Expands Book Tour to 39 Indigo Events, Demonstrating Strong Reader Demand

Author Ali Zokaee is significantly expanding his bookstore presence in the Greater Toronto Area, with 39 confirmed book signing events at Indigo locations from April through October 2026. The tour has already generated notable reader interest, with stores selling an average of more than 85 percent of copies ordered for each event, and seven appearances reaching 100 percent sell-through.

One of the tour's strongest results came during Zokaee's July 25 appearance at Indigo Yonge & Eglinton in Toronto, where every available copy of Useful Quotes: True, Practical But Not Pleasing sold out in less than four and a half hours. This success has encouraged Zokaee to continue returning to Indigo stores throughout 2026, including locations where he is introducing his second book, The History Of Music And Cinema: Evaluation Part 1, as well as events featuring both titles.

For Zokaee, the tour has become more than a series of signing events. Each appearance gives him an opportunity to meet readers personally, introduce his work to new communities, and steadily grow the audience surrounding his books. The confirmed schedule includes appearances at major Indigo locations such as Eaton Centre, Scarborough Town Center, Sherway Gardens, and Yorkdale, among others.

The tour began April 4 at Indigo Eaton Centre and continues through October 31 at Indigo Burlington Mapleview. Zokaee expects to add several more appearances before year-end, bringing his 2026 total to approximately 40 bookstore events. He also plans to continue the momentum in 2027 with additional appearances featuring both books.

Beyond Canada, Zokaee has begun reaching out to Barnes & Noble locations in the United States as part of a longer-term effort to expand his in-person bookstore presence. His books are available through major booksellers, including Indigo, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Waterstones.

The high sell-through rates and rapid sellouts indicate a strong and growing readership for Zokaee's work. The expansion to nearly 40 events in a single year, with plans for U.S. expansion, signals a significant momentum shift for the author. For more information, visit www.zokaee.com.
